Trying to think of creative activities for toddlers to do at a birthday party can be difficult. I decided to go with a Slip 'n Slide for one of them. It worked out fairly well considering we had to carry buckets of water from the beach to keep it slick.
The second thing we did was a water balloon toss. Each child was supposed to stand behind a line and try to throw their balloon into a hula hoop. This clever idea came from Jack and Izzy, via Party Perfect.Lastly, we had a pinata. I searched around town looking for one that would go with the theme and settled on a dump truck from Party City. The kids had a blast taking a turn at it. Some did better than others, depending on their age, but everyone loved the candy.
