One of Those Days

Yesterday was one of those days . . .

Van watched 2 1/2 hours of cartoons.

I did six loads of laundry.

Van pooped in his underwear.

Both kids had baths.

Gus cried for no apparent reason.

I had ramen noodles for lunch.

I didn't shower until 2:00 p.m.

Van played in his crib instead of napping.

The Weather

I'm so over it. We have had several days of cold, snowy mornings followed by sunny afternoons. Enough with the teasing.

Taking Time

It's been a wonderful week. Spencer's been on spring break so we've been taking time to do things together as a family. We'll be sad come Monday morning when he returns to school. We love you Daddy.

Bowling

With Sarah in town we needed to do something fun, so on Tuesday we went bowling. It was Van's first time. He came in third place, beating out his Daddy by just one point.

Hiking

On Monday we went hiking with Grandpa Burnham, Autie Sarah, and the Dushku kids. We followed the Parrish Canyon trail that leads to Centerville Peak. Van started getting distracted so we didn't quite make it to the top, but it was a good thing because the weather started to turn right as we got to the car.

Gus' Blessing

Little Gus was blessed on Sunday. Spencer did a beautiful job. We felt very lucky to have the support of so many family members; it certainly made the occasion extra special.

A Birthday Party

Our Aunt Ardie celebrated her eightieth birthday and we were able to join in on the celebrations. Van had a good time playing with his cousins, slurping water droplets off the tablecloth, and stealing frosting from the cake.

Friends

Van and his cousin Sydnee are really becoming quite good friends.
