LOST - The End

Last night we celebrated LOST's final episode on television. We invited a few friends over to join us in the much anticipated farewell. I found these DHARMA Initiative product labels and Spencer helped me print and cut each one to size.It was an exciting night! All in all, I feel pretty good with how it ended. There was just enough ambiguity. Although, I'm glad there was a group of us to hash it out.

What did you think? Was there enough closure?

Bedding

I've recently been looking for a new coverlet for our bedroom. Reason being, duvets are just too warm for Spencer. The minute I saw this bedding from West Elm I fell in love. It's perfect. Don't be surprised when the next time you come to my house you see it in my bedroom.

Happy Mother's Day

Today my lesson in church was about creating an uplifting environment. There was a quote from Bruce R. McConkie, found in Mormon Doctrine, in which he states we are to "create for [our]selves and [our] families the most wholesome and edifying environment possible." He continues to say that we are to "rise above every environmental situation that may be encountered."

A few days ago I saw this video and felt that it was the perfect way of tying in the topic of creating an uplifting environment, with mother's day. Stephanie is a perfect example of how we as women, can recognize our divine role as mothers and create a beautiful, uplifting environment for our children.

Barf!

I've been thrown up on twice today.

The Rocker

This little guy showed up on our doorstep yesterday afternoon. Couldn't be more excited!

Spot It!

For Van's birthday last year I picked him up this book at SAM. He has recently discovered it and the book has become an instant favorite. Each page is beautifully designed and I am continually amazed at how well he can spot the creatures. Go get one today!

Our Weekend

We spent the weekend and most of last week in Birch Bay and Vancouver with family. It was fun and exciting, but also very busy and a little chaotic. By the end of the weekend I realized I had only taken a few pictures to document the whole adventure. Here are some taken at Peace Arch Park and the Greater Vancouver Zoo.

The reason for the trip was to attend the Vancouver British Columbia Temple dedication. The majority of Spencer's family was gathering for the event. It was nice to be apart of such a special occasion. More on that later...
