Poppi

Today was my Poppi's funeral. He passed away one week ago in Salt Lake City. Spencer and I were able to book a last minute flight to see him before he passed. Those last moments were truly precious. Poppi was a wonderful man who loved watching sports, tending to his garden, and spending time with his family. He will be missed by many, especially us.

Ash,

Just wanted to let you know we missed you and Spencer at the funeral. It was really wonderful. The flowers from the grandkids were beautiful and had no Utah red in them. There was a blue ribbon with the words, "We love you, Poppi." The memories shared by Trav, Marci, and BD were great! BD ended his talk with a few of grandpa's sayings (How 'bout them Jazz; How 'bout those Cougars). He added a new saying, "How 'bout our Dad (Grandpa for us)! I thought it was so sweet. Another of my favorites from the day was when Aubrey put one of the pictures she colored for Pop in the casket on his hands.

W have all been so blessed to have Poppi in our lives. We will truly miss him.
