My good friend Megan is expecting her first little one next month (it's a girl). On Saturday I hosted a baby shower for her in my parents backyard. A few months ago I had seen this
strawberry party and loved the idea of a brunch, so I went with it.

We had warm crepes complete with fresh berries and creme
fraiche. Cake pops and tiered donut cakes adorned the serving table.

I picked up the fabric for the tablecloths at a
local store and followed these
instructions for the mobiles. For the favors I used
clear 3x3 boxes, filled them with
strawberry-banana gum balls, and tied them off with
bakers twine.

The party was a huge success. Thanks to all who helped with the setup, cooking, etc., I couldn't have pulled it off without you. Good luck on your upcoming adventure Megs!
