Lately we have noticed that Van understands a lot of what we say. It's been fun to watch.When we're getting ready to go outside and I ask him to get his shoes, he will run to get them and bring them back so I can put them on.
When I tell him it's time to brush his teeth, he will head over to the bedroom sink and point at the medicine cabinet where his toothbrush is stored.
Each night when we sit down for dinner and tell him it's time for prayer, he knowingly places his little hand on his forearm then sweetly bows his head.
If I ask him to get a book, he'll go to the bookcase and pull one out for us to read. Sometimes he'll bring one to me without being prompted. It's really quite cute.

Isn't it awesome when they understand and do what you ask?! Wait till he talks and you can have conversations! It's so much fun!
