i used to hate running in the rain...until i moved to the nw where it's nearly unavoidable. now i really enjoy it. though it does take some convincing to get out the door sometimes.
When we first arrived in Bellevue, I thought the rain would be a deterrent to running but it didn't slow anyone else down so I took to it like a duck. It is part of life in the Seattle area. I remember someone vocalizing the question, "Does it rain in Seattle?" and then replied with a rhetorical response-"Do hockey players spit?"

It's drizzled twice on me in the past week while running and I LOVE it. It's so refreshing especially after the insane heat.
I hear ya. I wanted to do a long skate, but rain makes it impossible!
