It's time; we are in need of a high chair. I've been looking for a little while now and I'm not sure if I want to go with a booster or a free standing chair. Some that have piqued my interest are: the
Bloom Nano,
HandySitt booster,
CAM Smarty, and the
Stokke Tripp Trapp. Anyone love their high chair? Recommendations? Suggestions?

I just went to a consignment store for children and purchased one for $15. It serves the purpose and saved me money.
We have a $20 booster that attaches to a dining room chair for Madilynn. She has used it since she was Van's age and it had done a great job growing with her. Definitely not as stylish as the Tripp Trapp, but more portable and hideable!
The Carters gave us a stand alone for Lily and while I like not tieing up another of a dining chairs with a kid seat (seating isn't very available when we have guests!) the seat is too low for her and she can't see over the tray.
I'd recommend trying him in a seat if you're going to spend that kind of money on it. And really think about what you want long term.
Also, you commented asking if the vintage and 70s photos were settings. Not on my camera. I downloaded the from thepioneerwoman.com and used them in photoshop. They are things you could do without downloading, but the actions save tons of time!
actually we use the fisher price "space saver" that straps on to one of your kitchen table chairs and it was cheap ($60 tops), you can get it at walmart, it doesnt have a bunch of tacky plaid or cartoon characters on it, is neutral green and off-white, and can recline if they fall asleep in it (which he has from time to time). it is really convenient and easy to clean since it is plastic which is important. we also just took the plastic padding off of it and the plain plastic gives it an even more minimalistic modern look and is even easier to clean.
we just downgraded from our Peg Perego one to a Fisher Price booster seat. http://www.toysrus.ca/product/index.jsp?productId=2687904&cp=2582954.2582964.2582964&parentPage=family
The Peg Perego was great- I really liked the adjustable height of the seat but it was taking up too much room. Plus Joshua always touches EVERYTHING when he eats and there were too many small cracks always getting food in them. And even though he was growing he was always having to reach really high to get the food off his tray.
So far this booster seat is awesome. Joshua loves it, it's SO easy to clean (the removable tray makes cleaning in the cracks easy), it's small and you don't even notice it when the chair is tucked in.
I love mine! I'll try and find a picture of it and send it to you. I don't remember the name of it.
I love our high chair. Originally I bought it only because it was $5 at a garage sale. It is totally an old school wood one from our generation. The reason I love it. Lorenzo can climb all over it and it will not tip over. I can tell him to go get in his chair and he will climb right up the side with no problems.

It pretty much looks like that except there are two rungs on the side so it is easier to climb. If you want one of these make sure they won't tip. Anyway, I love mine.
I think that those high chairs are beautiful and really pricey! I think you should see if you can find something you like just as much for less money.
Wow really nice collection of High Chairs...
