Ready for Baby

Here are some pictures of the finished nursery. We had to work with the small amount of space that was available in the second bedroom since it's also Spencer's office, but I'm really happy with how it turned out.

I feel so lucky to have a husband who understood my need to nest. Spencer did a lot of the work; assembling the furniture, priming and painting the walls, hanging the pictures, and refinishing the shelf. And because he's a detailed oriented person I never had to worry.

Now we just need the baby.

That room looks really calm and soothing. I bet if that baby knew what was out there he would hurry up and get to his station outside of the womb, which if I recall is station 4.

Hey Ashley! This is Melissa from church, Crystal told me about your blog and I checked it out today...hoping your little guy had shown up! Guess not. Don't get too caught up in the waiting game...my only sanity these past few weeks has been by keeping super busy! Your nursery is sooo peaceful! I love it! I hope you're feeling well!

That's such an awesome nursery! Unfortunately for my little guy, we never had space for a room of his own. We still don't. He still shares a room with us! I love the nursery! I'm so jealous!

Well Ashley, after my son has done all of that work in making such a nice place, the rest is up to you. We are praying for you.

I don't even know you two, but I remember you from Laie. Congrats on your baby! I had to post to tell you his nursery is so beautiful and carefully put together -- hearing you describe all the work that lovingly went into it actually made me tear up! What a lucky boy!
