Spencer's parents are going to be serving as missionaries in San Diego. Part of their service includes working at the Mormon Battalion Visitors Center, located in Old Town. We're so excited for them and couldn't be happier about having them close enough for visits. July 21st is when they depart, which is also great because the baby will born before they leave. Congratulations Ron and Shirley!

A Call to Serve

San Diego is closer to you? Where are they now? But that's awesome. San Diego is a way fun place to be. Congrats!
Thanks for the posting Ashley. We are surprised and yet glad to accept the calling. Having somewhat braced ourselves for what could have been a "hardship" mission in the far corners of the world, it was a relief to Shirley to learn that we won't even have to deal with extreme temperatures let alone privation or poverty (except our own).
That is so awesome. That means you guys will be visiting CA more often. How funny that Tracy moved from here and they are coming here. So friend, how have you been feeling? I need to see some belly shots!
