On Saturday we were able to go to a tree farm and cut down our own Christmas tree. It was so much fun. I really loved trekking through the snow and searching for the perfect one. It was an entirely new experience for me; quite different from your typical pre-cut tree lot.

we're so jealous! we had plans to do this last saturday and a huge snow storm came in so we couldn't go. maybe next year...
