Natural History Museum

The Utah Museum of Natural History offers free admission on the first Monday of every month. Van and I took some time walking around the exhibits; not as interactive as the Pacific Science Center, but still a good outing.

Rain

It's raining, really raining and I love it.

Differences

Water boils considerably faster.

Bananas ripen sooner.

The grass is ironically greener.

Our towels actually get dry; so does our skin.

Parks and lakes are few and far between.

Air conditioning comes standard.

Prime time television starts at 7:00 pm.

Beating the Heat

It's been ninety degree weather here in Salt Lake, so we've been soaking up the sun. Saturday we took a drive to Jordanelle Reservoir.Today, Angie and I took the kids to Liberty Park to play in the Seven Canyons fountain.

Coming Home

We will be in Washington from December 22nd through January 5th. I'm feeling lucky.

Greatest Show on Earth

The circus is in town and we went to the elephant parade on Wednesday. It wasn't too grand, just a few animals, clowns and acrobats. Van seemed to enjoy it.
