All Fools Day Parade

On Saturday we went to the Woodinville All Fools Day Parade. Highlights include the basset hound club, fighting parade participants, a horse wearing a suit, and senior citizens dancing in a bus.

I saw this milk ad in Parents magazine and thought it was so adorable. How beautiful are Rebecca Romijn's kids?

New Duds

I thought Van looked so cute in his new shirt and shoes today that I couldn't resist taking pictures. (He's been practicing his "cheese" in case you couldn't tell).

Spring

It was seventy degrees here on Wednesday. So for dinner, I packed a picnic and we went to Waverly Beach Park to enjoy some sunshine.

Missing

The charger for my new camera is lost. I can't find it anywhere!

St. Patrick's Day

When I was little my mom would always treat us with a visit from the leprechauns on St. Patrick's Day. It was one of my favorite traditions; I always looked forward to the bucket of green goodies. This year, the leprechauns visited our house too!

Kitchen

This is our kitchen. As you can see, it adjoins the family room. It's rather large and really clean. For the most part I am completely satisfied with it.

Eventually, I would like to replace the fixture with a pendant lamp and I've been eyeing these chairs for a while now. I think they'd work perfectly.

I'm not a fan of the curtains, however, the only idea we've come up with is to go with venetian blinds. Any thoughts?
