16 Weeks

Earlier this week I had my first real visit with my doctor. Everything went really well. Spencer came along and we were able to hear the baby's heartbeat. We even heard a little kick on the monitor. My ultrasound is scheduled for February 12th.

Sweet Dreams

Soon we'll be sleeping on this baby. When we move to the city in a few months our heavenly Simmons Beautyrest mattress will be delivered to our door. My back and I can't wait.

My brother Tony sent me this photo to help me with my hair decision. It was twenty some odd years ago, but maybe I could still pull it off.

Homecoming

Spencer just got home from a week away in San Francisco for a sales conference. It was really hard having him away for so long. Hopefully he's all done with these long business trips. It's good to have him back.

14 Weeks

Today was the first day I had to use a rubber band with my jeans. It worked surprisingly well. I also found out earlier this week that I'm a bit anemic; hello iron supplements.

Hair Dilemma

I haven't had a haircut since we left Hawaii and my hair is driving me crazy! I hate what it's doing right now. When I made this post a few months ago, the idea was to grow it out, but now I'm having second thoughts. I'd forgotten how annoying the "in-between" stage is. Maybe I need to cut it. Maybe I need bangs. That's what drew me to this cut anyway. Just an idea I'm throwing out their to all of you.

Victoria

While it may look like I was the only one on this trip, Spencer was there. We took our camera with us, but left it in the hotel room the entire time. I'm not sure what we were thinking. These photos were taken with Spencer's phone.

The first is outside the parliament building and the second is of John Lennon's yellow submarine, showcased at the Royal BC Museum. We also went to the Craigdarroch Castle and Butchart Gardens, and walked the chilly streets of downtown Victoria. It was a relaxing, enjoyable weekend.

Belated Birthday

My sister Kim had a birthday while we were out of town. She turned 27 on Sunday. I hope she had a sensational birthday and wish her a happy year ahead.
