To kick start our summer, we decided to plan a camping trip with my entire family. Lucky for us, my brother-in-law Doug has some family property near the Palisades Reservoir in Southern Idaho.
It was a great weekend getaway. The weather was perfect for playing. We spent our days riding four-wheelers, roasting marshmallows, exploring the campground, eating yummy food, and playing down at the reservoir.
The beach was rather muddy, but that didn't stop us from having fun. Everyone covered themselves with 'war-paint' and Gus pretended to be Hulk Smash. Every now and then you'd catch yourself in a mud pocket and get stuck on the water's edge.
Special thanks to the Hawkes' family for so generously taking care of us. The property was beautiful and the food unforgettable. Until next time.
