I'm telling you - the best thing we ever did was get Gabby a clock. She knows she cannot get up until it says "7". The first couple of times, we had to lead her back to her room and explain that it wasn't 7:00 yet. But for the last 9 months or so, she gets up every morning at 7:01. Saved my sanity (well, what was left of it, that is).
I've actually been thinking about how you did that and this morning I made him stay in my bed and wait until the clock on my phone said 7:00. I need to get him one.
