As most of you are well aware, from the incessant sniffling, Spencer has been plagued with allergies for the last ten years. Well, you'll be happy to know that he saw an allergist this week and found out that he is severely allergic to dust mites. Apparently they thrive in humid climates, which would explain why Spencer's onset started when he left home for college. The allergist has him on a couple of medications, a pill and a nose spray, and I'm going to do my best to keep these "cosmopolitan guests" out of our home. First step, buying allergen proof covers for our bed and pillows.

Hey, I read an article once about dust mites...they can be bad news!!! Hope this new found revelation helps Spencer out.

Wade was telling me that the Sky Mall has a wand type thing that's whole purpose is to kill dust mites and other yuckies. You should check it out. It's on page 47... he's got the whole magazine memorized. :-) but the website is just skymall.com
