New Camera

A few weeks ago Spencer and I purchased a Sony Cyber-shot digital camera. I had been doing research on compact point and shoot cameras and this is the one we decided to go with. Some things we love about our new camera: shot to shot time, picture quality, user-friendly menu, and on-screen function guide. There are also a lot of fun features like the smile shutter (which captures smiles the moment they happen), face detection, and the "happy faces" retouching tool. An example of this is shown above as Spencer tries to turn his frown upside down.

Ready for Baby

Here are some pictures of the finished nursery. We had to work with the small amount of space that was available in the second bedroom since it's also Spencer's office, but I'm really happy with how it turned out.

I feel so lucky to have a husband who understood my need to nest. Spencer did a lot of the work; assembling the furniture, priming and painting the walls, hanging the pictures, and refinishing the shelf. And because he's a detailed oriented person I never had to worry.

Now we just need the baby.

Strange Dreams

Last night I dreamt about some really random things . . . decaying molars, BYU-Hawaii graduation, Japanese tourists, American Olympic apparel, and student body officers from high school. Weird.

Two Weeks

We're down to the last two weeks and things continue to go well. I'm progressing each week, however, I know I still have a long way to go. Hopefully my body will kick into gear soon. I'm pretty sure the little guy is ready.

Check out this great monthly photo idea.

CeFiore

For the most part I haven't really had any cravings during my pregnancy. There have been a few things, however, that I just can't seem to get enough of. In the beginning it was pizza, as of late it has been Pillsbury Create n' Bake chocolate chip cookies, and CeFiore frozen yogurt. This little company makes refreshingly delicious non-fat frozen yogurt, I particularly enjoy the raspberry-pomegranate. Their fruit is always fresh and their granola is to die for. I'm so glad we have a location here in Kirkland.
