Bliss

I love this time of day. Van has just woken up from his nap and wants to snuggle. He cozies up on my lap and rests his head on my chest as I rest my chin on his forehead. Then, in this perfect moment, he looks up and smiles.

Speaking of Books

Since becoming a mom, I've come to realize how fabulous board books are. Short, compact, and practically indestructible. One can even find classic stories like, Goodnight Moon and Stellaluna, in board book form. These three are a few additions I simply adore. Now if only I could convince Van of their charm.

They say...

read to your baby. And I say, tell me how to get my baby to hold still and leave the book alone so I can read to him.

Little Buddies

This is Van's friend Charlie. He and Van are just nine days apart and it's been so much fun watching the two of them grow. I happened to have my camera with me on Sunday so I snapped a few pictures. They're just too cute!

While I was up in Stanwood last week the kids were watching Playhouse Disney and this adorable show was on. It's very creative and super imaginative. Plus the relationship between Charlie and Lola is really quite cute. If any of you are up early enough and have the Disney channel you should check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Fair

Thanks lady at the Nordstrom makeup counter for letting me know I have fair skin. Sad. Never before had I thought I was fair skinned.
