6 Months

The little guy is six months today. He has mastered the art of scooting and is close to crawling on all fours. He is gobbling up his fruits and veggies, including prunes and peas. He just started sitting on his own earlier this week; and he continues to make his mommy and daddy happy.

Eating Out

We ate at some yummy restaurants while we were in Portland. A few of my favorites were Mama Mia Trattoria, Jake's Grill, and the lovely Bijou Cafe.

Luxury

Thanks to Hotwire's low prices, Spencer was able to book us a room at The Nines in downtown Portland. The hotel was beautiful, the service superb, and the location perfect. I loved it.

On the Road Again

Quick Trip

Spencer has some appointments in Portland so we're going away for a few days. We'll be back soon!

Today Sucks

Van has been really whiny, one of Spencer's restaurants is closing, and I just got a ticket.

Resolutions

Spencer and I have never been big on resolutions. However, as we were cozied up on the sofa waiting for 2009 to arrive, we thought about some things we would like to do this year. Here are some from our list:

- Read The Chronicles of Narnia {Ashley}.

- Have family home evening each Monday.

- Be debt free.

- Run the Seattle half marathon in June.

- Have dinner guests once a month.

- Use our tent.

- Vacation in Hawaii and Quebec.

- Have outing days with Van {Ashley}.

- Send correspondence {Ashley}.

- Live a little greener.

I miss...
