While Spencer was on fall break last week we drove up Big Cottonwood Canyon and hiked around Silver Lake. There was a little bit of left over snow from the week prior, but that didn't deter us. It was a gorgeous day and a great family outing.
The boys and I were invited to a Halloween brunch. All in attendance were asked to come dressed as witches or wizards. I was able to come up with one witch and two Harry Potter's (school aged and baby) with some things my mom and I had on hand. Since my boys were the only two wizards at the party, I think they were a big hit.
Any suggestions on how to get my stubborn (and persistent) eight month old to stop waking for his four o'clock feeding? I've tried for over a week now and he just won't give in; he cries and cries. This has been his only feeding since he was six weeks old and I swear it's just habitual now. Help!
Just finished watching the entire series of Friday Night Lights. Seriously so good. Even if you don't like football, or Texas for that matter, it's truly a show worth watching. You'll fall in love; I promise. Watch all five seasons here.
One of the perks to being married to a Canadian is getting to fill up on turkey stuffing twice a year; once in October and once in November. Happy Thanksgiving!
On Saturday we took Van to see The Lion King in 3D. This was his first time seeing a movie at the theatre. He seemed to really enjoy the show and didn't mind wearing the 3D glasses. I think his favorite part was "I Just Can't Wait to Be King."
