Herpes Outbreak
Video Courtesy of KSL.com
. . . horse herpes that is. At the Davis County Fair, the only horses in the rodeo beauty pageant arena were in a bucket. This video features junior queens competing on stick horses. According to Spencer, all the girls need are a couple of coconuts (as seen on The Holy Grail) and it would make the story that much better.

When Spencer's Gone...
I stay up way too late.
I snack all night long.
I hardly ever cook.
Van acts up more often.
The house gets neglected.
I become extremely spacy.
The mail is never brought in.
Light bulbs burn out.
Toilets get clogged.
Good thing he's coming home tomorrow.
Six Month Well Check
Weight: 18 pounds 6 ounces (50-75%). Height: 26 1/4 inches (75%). Head Circumference: 44.5 centimeters (75%).
Gus has begun to babble and he quite enjoys it. It's like a little game to him, making sounds and combining syllables. We have started him on solid foods and he loves them; hasn't rejected a single thing yet. He's starting to figure out how to crawl, and I say that in the loosest terms. Basically, he gets up on his knees and lunges forward. He has begun to experience a little bit of stranger anxiety (must love his mama). And he enjoys sitting on the floor, playing with toys and his brother.

Bear Lake - Set 1
The water level was extremely high this year, 8" down from full to be exact. To give you an idea of how much the lake has risen, last year it was 6' 2" down from full. Because of the water level we had life jackets on the kids for the majority of the time. Here we enjoy our first morning by the lake.
