Missing

Some things I am missing right now about Kirkland, besides our friends of course, drop-in play and the Kids' Cove at Bellevue Square. They were perfect fall backs for when we needed something to do.

Library Books

Van and I have been spending some time at our local library checking out new books. This one, I am absolutely in love with. It's simply adorable. All Little Owl wants to do is go to bed early like his friends do, but his mama and papa say that little owls have to stay up late and play.

Freight Train is Van's favorite. He can't get enough of it. He'll ask me to read it over and over again. Which is okay, because it's visually appealing and really short. Another good book to add to our personal library.

New York City

My mom is in New York for a week. Aren't you jealous? I am.
