29 Weeks

I had my first appointment at the Evergreen Women's Health Center this week. This is where I'll be having the remainder of my appointments. The baby is doing great; moving and kicking a bunch. Spencer enjoys feeling him poke my tummy. I'm measuring right on schedule; so far so good.

April Showers

We experienced some strange weather in Kirkland this weekend; rain, hail, and snow. I'm so ready for some sunshine!

Nursery

I'm in love with this nursery I found on Apartment Therapy. It's so peaceful, clean, and beautiful. I'm dying to paint the blue walls that are currently in our "nursery". This is a look I could really go for. Find more pictures here.

Kids Stuff

Southwest Airlines Spirit Magazine had a fabulous article dedicated to things to do with your kids before they grow up. I typically don't take the time to read in-flight magazines, but when I saw this article I was reeled in. Enjoy ideas like pulling taffy, camping out, reading kids classics, and sand sledding here.

Congratulations!

Spencer's sister Sharon had her little girl on Friday afternoon. She weighed in at 8 pounds 4 ounces. They currently live in Saskatchewan so we've yet to see her in person. She looks pretty adorable. Congrats Sharon and Ryan; welcome to the world baby Greta!

Yoga

I signed up for a Yoga for Pregnancy class at the beginning of the week. There are six sessions, my first one was on Tuesday. I really enjoyed the hour and a half of stretching and relaxing. It should be a lot of fun.

Baby Shower

While we were in Utah this past weekend I had the opportunity to be the recipient of two baby showers. My fabulous friends treated me to dinner at The Dodo in downtown Salt Lake City and my dear sisters, along with the help of my mom, put together a fun and relaxing shower where I could mingle with family. Check out the cute invites and clever favors they made. And here's just a sampling of some of the great loot we brought home. Thanks a million ladies!

We've Moved

We moved into our new place on Saturday. It's taken a few days, but things are finally coming together. Our furniture arrived from IKEA on Monday; only two more pieces left to assemble. I've never seen so many cardboard boxes. Next step, replenishing Goodwill.
